W&L’s Faculty Meeting Dependent Care Reimbursement Program helps those employees with caregiving responsibilities more easily attend after-hours faculty meetings.  The Office of Human Resources will reimburse the cost of hiring a caregiver for dependents who require supervision while the employee attends University Faculty and Undergraduate Faculty Meetings, including:
- Children under the age of 13
- Dependents with special needs or disability who are incapable of caring for themselves
It’s simple and flexible:  an employee hires a caregiver of their own choosing and is reimbursed for reasonable costs.
Upon submission of the , the employee will be reimbursed for caregiver expenses required for Faculty Meeting attendance (up to $20 per hour).  This benefit is taxable. No receipt is required. Requests must be submitted within 60 days of each covered faculty meeting.
